Bonnie's Bridals

Here are some shots of Bonnie, my new sister-in-law. I took some bridals for her at the Salt Lake Temple and the Joseph Smith Memorial Building.

As you've probably noticed by now, all the pictures are a sepia look. I decided that I want to try something that I've never done before. I edited all of these pictures in sepia, just to see what it would look like. Just so that you know, I don't usually (I've never actually) edit all my pictures in sepia or black and white. This was just a project of mine. And because her dress was so cool and colorful, I included one (three, really) pictures of her in color.

Here is the album that I designed for Shauna & Ross. I love shooting at the Logan temple.

Fun With a Hose

I was copying the images from my camera's memory card and I was pleasantly surprised to see these pictures there that I had taken the week before. My niece just loves to drink from the hose and I just love to take her picture - what a combination.

Golfing

I went to a golfing range with a group of friends last week. It was so much fun to swing hundreds of times and never have to chase a single ball. I only had my small camera with me, but it didn't stop me from snapping a couple of really fun pictures.

That's Lisa who hit the ball. I can't believe that my small point-and-shoot camera was fast enough to catch the ball mid-flight.

The Newly Remodeled Capital Building

had a chance to go inside the state Capital Building a few days ago and let me just say how cool it was. I didn't take my big camera along, but I did take a small point-and-shoot camera with me and I took a few pictures whenever I had a second. Sometimes, when I'm not working on a wedding or portrait, I like to force myself to shoot with a little consumer camera. It keeps you on your toes and makes you learn to use the equipment better. All of these pictures were taken with a SONY W30 camera.

Don't ask me why I liked these eagles so darn much. I guess they're just cool.

Shauna & Ross

Shauna and Ross's wedding was awesome! It wasn't cold at all and the lighting was perfect with all of the clouds. The snow-covered mountains made a perfect backdrop to shoot against.
