Here's the next in a series of studio samples that I'm getting this month. It's a huge canvas print from one of my best friend's wedding. As you can see from the picture, it's 40" wide (that's almost 3 1/2 feet!) and 28" tall. I'll be making it into a gallery wrap as soon as I finish a new invention to stretch the canvas. I think I'm pretty safe in saying that it will be pretty darn cool.
Jeff and I go way back, clear back to junior high. Logan is such a popular temple to shoot at. Check out the pictures with the mountains in the background. They're so cool in the spring.
I'm so excited for the month of March, and not just because it's the beginning of spring. This March is going to be the best one ever because I'm ordering several new studio sample prints. The first of them arrived just last weekend and I've already got it framed and on the wall. I don't know if any picture can do the Salt Lake temple justice, but this is as close as I think we'll get. It's printed on a special kind of paper that adds a little extra pop to the image itself. You've got to see it to understand what I'm talking about. That's right, it's the National Sleep Awareness Week. Actually, it's been going on since Sunday. I just wanted to post about it because I know how important sleep is - how it's so misunderstood and it's importance is overlooked so often. Check out this website and take some interesting quizzes about sleeping. You could even help a friend out by sending them the link.
There are so many memorable birthdays in February. Obvoiusly the most notable are the birthdays of the two greatest presidents this nation has ever had, Abraham Lincoln and George Washington. Now these are two men who I definitely want to be like. But I got to thinking why it is that the original Mr. President still has an old design on the $1 bill. I mean seriously, they have a new design for Alexander Hamilton but not one for George Washington! Well, I figured that I'd go ahead and design one, or at least see what it would look like. So here are my two favorite presidents, both with new bill designs.
